A bit of background: During the latter part of the World War I, Joseph Pilates served as an orderly in a hospital where he worked with patients unable to walk. He attached bed springs to the hospital beds to help support the patients’ limbs, leading to the development of the Cadillac.

At first glance, the Cadillac can look a little intimidating, but fear not! The Pilates Cadillac is an extremely adaptable piece of equipment which can be used to further challenge or give support in order to address the functional needs of each Pilates student.
Using different attachments such as arm springs, leg springs, a roll-up bar and push-through bar, you can focus on your core stability, strength and flexibility
. For our advanced students, the canopy top of the Cadillac allows you to do moves like inversions and cool acrobatic tricks!
