Vegetables are the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. And yet most people don’t eat enough of them. Core Reform Pilates has teamed up with Project Vegetable to offer clients a free, two-week Vegetable Challenge starting Monday, July 20th to help you master the art of eating veggies every day to look and feel your best.
What’s a vegetable challenge? Clients who sign up will upload to Instragram or text pictures of what’s on their plates/glasses/etc. and Project Vegetable will track what veggies they are eating. Think Fitbit for food. (Just veggies. Project Vegetable doesn’t care what else is on the plate. They aren’t judging anyone for eating chocolate cake, but instead rewarding people for good habits.) Project Vegetable will send daily emails with recipes, tips for how to incorporate more veggies into your diet, fun facts and more. They’ll send individual progress reports and publicly announce the leaders. This is a friendly competition meant to inspire awesome veggie habits!
Need more incentive? Participating clients will be entered into a raffle for a $50 Core Reform gift card.
We all know that vegetables are loaded with vitamins and minerals. But they are also filled with phytonutrients and fiber! Acting as antioxidants, phytonutrients aid in post-workout muscle repair. And the fiber in veggies slows digestion and can support the absorption of vitamins, minerals and amino acids — all of which your muscles need for further growth. What does all of this mean? In addition to filling your body with nutrients, veggies support all of your hard work at Core Reform!
*Sign up before July 17th by filling out a Project Vegetable enrollment form at the studio desk or completing this Google Doc. Project Vegetable is happy to answer any questions. Contact them here: http://www.projectvegetable.com/contact/
